However, this groundbreaking transformation must be a \u2018just transition\u2019 that contributes to economic prosperity, social equity and environmental integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Towards a conceptual framework for standards and certification<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This scoping paper on PtX sustainability aims to<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>contribute to the international debate on regulatory frameworks for hydrogen and its derivatives (e.g. ammonia, e-jetfuel, etc.)<\/li><li>identify the key sustainability dimensions and concerns;<\/li><li>outline a comprehensive and coherent framework for sustainability assessments;<\/li><li>provide a solid basis for the implementation of sustainability standards and certification schemes.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The proposed conceptual framework for PtX sustainability presented in this paper<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>distinguishes four sustainability dimensions:&nbsp;<strong>E<\/strong>-nvironmental,&nbsp;<strong>E<\/strong>-conomic,&nbsp;<strong>S<\/strong>-ocial and&nbsp;<strong>G<\/strong>-overnance;<\/li><li>sorts and groups the multitude of sustainability concerns into 16 distinct clusters.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Power-to-X, the conversion of renewable electricity into molecules that can be used as fossil-free fuels and feedstocks in industry and<a class=\"read-more\" href=\"https:\/\/ptx-hub.org\/es\/publication\/ptx-sustainability-dimensions-and-concerns-scoping-paper\/\" target=\"_blank\">Read More<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":9,"featured_media":7333,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[],"ptxproject":[119],"publicationauthor":[287,285,286,279,288],"publicationtag":[],"publicationtopic":[267],"publicationformat":[260],"publicationcommissioner":[268],"publicationcontributor":[],"ptxcountry":[],"language":[39],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v16.0.2 -
