Analyses that examine the job potential in Power-to-X (PtX) value chains<\/strong> identify between 50 and 200 specific roles. In terms of the skills associated with needed job profiles<\/strong>, technical (e.g. materials engineering, metalworking) and non-technical skills (e.g. construction site management, commercial negotiations) are required. The fifth sustainability briefing<\/strong> provides a brief overview of the job profiles and skills as well as employment potentials<\/strong> along the PtX value chain. In addition, it assesses the role of education systems<\/strong> and presents exemplary measures for skills and job development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The briefing is aimed at policy makers, regulators and other stakeholders<\/strong> looking for an introduction to jobs and skills in the context of PtX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When designing green hydrogen and PtX value chains and policy frameworks, key elements of sustainability must be taken into account to ensure long-term positive impacts for all stakeholders involved.
