In February 2023, the European Commission published the two Delegated Acts pursuant to Article 27 and Article 28 of the Renewable Energy Directive (REDII)<\/strong>. These set out the requirements for renewable hydrogen and other Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin (RFNBOs) consumed in the EU and apply to all RFNBOs, whether produced within or outside the EU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rules specify the sourcing of renewable electricity in the production of RFNBOs and the methodology for calculating the greenhouse gas emissions savings of RFNBOs<\/strong>. The delegated acts will be imperative for demand side support measures in the EU and have received at lot of interest from actors in our partner countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
