Study: Power-to-X potentials in Colombia

This technical and economic study identifies and evaluates Power-to-X (PtX) technologies in the Colombian context. The study looks at the different products that can be obtained through PtX processes, including technical parameters and characteristics, as well as their level of technological maturity and the advantages and disadvantages of their implementation along the entire value chain. The analysis also assesses the additional inputs required for the PtX processes, including a description of their possible sources. It identifies five potential regions for the establishment of green hydrogen and PtX hubs in Colombia, which present favourable conditions for the initial development of the hydrogen and PtX economy in the country.
