12 insights on hydrogen – Argentina edition

Argentina is setting out to become one of the world’s hubs for green hydrogen and Power-to-X (PtX). To this end, the country is currently laying the foundation with the development of its hydrogen strategy.

To ensure that PtX is a defossilisation driver for the country, various aspects need to be evaluated. Topics currently under discussion include energy infrastructure development, the role of natural gas resources, certification and investment.

The study by our partners Agora Industry, Agora Energy Transition and Fundación Torcuato di Tella under the umbrella of the International PtX Hub provides insights on green hydrogen and PtX in the Argentine context. It aims to contribute to the discussion on priorities and next steps in building a PtX economy in the country.
