The European Union and its Member States are actively seeking a strengthened energy partnership with Morocco to promote a clean energy transition that is mutually beneficial and favours the emergence of economic and social opportunities. Regional integration through the convergence of energy and carbon markets is a strategy to intensify cooperation and leverage Morocco’s unique bi-directional connection with Europe. Beyond hydrogen, Morocco is comitted to produce PtX products for local consumption and export.
