Argentina is setting out to become one of the world’s hubs for green hydrogen and Power-to-X (PtX). To this end, the Secretary of Strategic Affairs presented its National Hydrogen Strategy in September 2023.
To ensure that PtX is a defossilisation driver for the country, various aspects need to be evaluated. The paper aims to contribute to the discussion about main aspects for scaling up renewable hydrogen and PtX production in the country.
The impulse paper was conducted by our partners Agora Industry, Agora Energy Transition and Fundación Torcuato di Tella under the umbrella of the International PtX Hub with support from CEARE, DECHEMA and the Argentine Secretary of Energy.
Originally published exclusively in English, the impulse paper has now been made accessible in Spanish to broaden its impact. The insights remain pertinent and hold importance for shaping the implementation of Argentina’s hydrogen strategy.
