Looking at our concept of Power-to-X, we see the full picture of defossilisation. If we want to phase out all fossil carbon while still supplying all our demand sectors with hydrocarbons – we might need to rethink some value chains.
International PtX Hub Director Torsten Schwab recently shared insights on the PtX Hub and its work in Kenya at the last instalment of the “Green Hydrogen Webinar Series” of the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH). Mr. Schwab was joined by three speakers presenting developments for hydrogen and PtX in Chile, Egypt, and Morocco:

- Tobias Gehrke, Fichtner – Country Report Chile
- Samir Rachidi, Institut de Recherche en Energie Solaire et Energies Nouvelles (IRESEN), Morocco – Country Report Morocco
The TUHH’s Institute for Environmental Technology and Energy Economics organised the webinar series “The dawn of the Hydrogen economy? Recent Developments and Activities“ from January to April 2023. They invited experts from the field to present current developments and projects on hydrogen in weekly sessions.
