Amidst the hype of multi-billion dollar projects and ambitious declarations of intent, countries are preparing to become producers and consumers of green hydrogen and Power-to-X (PtX). But how do they turn their visions into reality and bring PtX value chains to life? Our session at ACHEMA 2024 will present exemplary strategies and applications in Argentina, Kenya, Morocco, and South Africa. From green hydrogen and green ammonia to Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) and green steel, speakers from the public sector and industry will present country-specific use cases and engage in a panel discussion on what is needed from a political, economic, social and environmental perspective to advance PtX economies.
