We talked to experts from Colombia, Jordan, and Namibia about the prospects for promoting a sustainable and just hydrogen and Power-to-X economy in our new short video.

Nangula Uaandja, Head of Namibia’s Investment Promotion and Development Board, looks at the social impacts of PtX projects in Namibia and how to ensure they are taken into account in new projects. Lutfi Al-Sharif, Vice President of Hussein Technical University in Jordan, explores opportunities in Jordan’s phosphate industry and education sector, as well as debates surrounding water availability and desalination. Understanding a country’s realities in the early stages of a green hydrogen and PtX business case is key, according to Jaime Benavides, Green Hydrogen Production Leader at private energy company Celsia in Colombia. He expresses the need to dig deep and understand the intricacies of the country in order to understand truly promising and sustainable Power-to-X opportunities.
