Seawater desalination and wastewater reuse to produce green hydrogen and PtX in Chile

This study delves into the national regulations in Chile governing the production of green hydrogen and its derivatives. It focuses on the water resources needed for production, exploring alternatives such as seawater desalination and wastewater reuse. Concluding from the results, the study proposes measures to fill existing regulatory gaps, focusing on the regions of Antofagasta, Magallanes and Chilean Antarctic, offering insights to enhance sustainable practices in these areas.
